Hier noch ein Ausschnitt aus dem Online-Tagebuch vom jungen Keyboarder der Band, Joel Parisien:

I am opening up for (solo) and sitting in with 'LMT Connection', the best funk/soul band from Canada (prove me wrong, I dare you). I've known these guys for almost ten years.
Leroy Emmanuel is almost sixty, black, originally from Atlanta, now lives in Niagara Falls, used to play with the Funk Brothers (Motown), cut records with Marvin Gaye, knows Stevie Wonder personally, he plays guitar and sings and is a consummate showman. He's also devoted to the Bible and always has a "word for today" for me.

John Irvine, bass player, forty-something, white, lives in the Falls too, great cook, good friend, loves to smoke dope and have a good time, gentle spirit and has abundant generosity. John will prolly get me into trouble.

Mark Rogers, drummer, forty-something, white, lives in the Falls too, one of my best friends and mentors, has played on many of my recordings and is the best drummer I've ever worked with, one of my most faithful supporters, also likes to have a good time, can play any kind of music, always easy-going and positive, and has the most amazing family (wife and kids).

The guys from the Chops Horns have played with P-Funk, Alicia Keys, the Police and the Stones, to name a few. I've only known them for a couple of months but I know I'm going to like hanging out and playing with these cats. They're from New Jersey.
Dave Watson, tenor and baritone sax, forty-something, black, is the showman of the group, also loves to have a good time, and will prolly get me into trouble too.
Darryl Dixon, alto sax, forty-something, black, is more reserved, doesn't drink (alcohol, coffee) or smoke (tobacco, wacky tabacky), and he loves pancakes and waffles. See, I told you: I've only just recently met these guys, I don't know tons about them.

And then there's me, JP, twenty-something, pink, currently living in Burlington, electric piano and vocals, also loves to party, thrilled to be the junior of the group, not as hot on the pancakes, and will prolly get myself into trouble. I'm not devoted to religion however the All-Of-Everything's hand is placed squarely in the centre of my back, gently pushing me forward.

Oh, and I have a mohawk right now. Definitely not what people expect from a soul singer. So add this to my mini-profile: I like to mess with convention and traditions."
